Monte R. Johnson founded Mad Beat Entertainment in 1999 to personally represent top-level artists and musicians, combining his vast experience as a professional musician, producer, and a former artist. As a percussionist, Mr. Johnson is well known for his outstanding instrumentals and drum tracks, sought after by performers, musicians, and producers alike for his extraordinary, phenomenal skill, as well as his command of a wide variety of styles, and vocal techniques. As a highly experienced producer, Mr. Johnson works one-on-one to help develop an artist’s unique vision and together make the most exciting, honest sounding and accessible product possible. He has produced quite a few commercially released albums, from reggae to house. And as a studio musician he has played on countless others.
